i think at the end, my only question is:
Where's Haider Ackermann?!?!?!?!?
--
as a final note, i thought i'd share something eloquently-worded by my dear friend SAL, who writes so expressively that i once googled her words, thinking it was re-posted from somehwere else on the web. (also, i laugh mirthlessly at my poor estimate of her facility with language and repository of emotions.)
"Saint Patrick’s Day this year couldn’t have been further from last year’s – spent some hours in SMU’s library today getting some work done and avoided alcohol and all festivities (though i did wear green). The days of subsequent partying are long gone. Last night at Butter with J and A was good fun with the best of trashy music, though we were all exhausted by the time 2am came. A pulled off her magnificent heels and conceded somewhat ruefully that contrary to the original plan, she would no longer be bringing heels to Europe."*
*Hopefully i find a pair of suitable wedges (none of the ones i have now are ideal...) in time for April..
